The retaining walls on W 17th require cleaning and routine maintenance. The house shown is 1412 W 17th, but the walls run up and down the street. Mold is the major concern. --Sharon Roualet representing Crescent Bend Neighborhood Association. 812-345-7680
The cables hanging from the electrical posts are about 7 feet off the ground in front of my house. They are likely a safety hazard and we cannot get a truck into the drive way. They need to be raised up.
Black car blocking alley. Ongoing problem.
Dumpster in parking lot outside 653 E Alpine Trl has been overfilled for at least two weeks. It is a consistent issue. There does not seem to be a regular emptying schedule for this specific dumpster.
Last year, we had city crews working on the sidewalk hazards, which were not yet completed (the section of the sidewalk connected to the driveway has sunken, which was not the case before. Each time we drive in or out, the vehicle experiences significant vibrations. A city manager previously visited and advised us that repairs should be completed before winter; however, this was not addressed at the time (I understand everyone has been busy). Since then, the issue has worsened and now requires immediate attention. I would greatly appreciate your prompt attention to this matter. Thank you.
The fake grass on the east side of the north tunnel at the Switchyard playground is ripped and loose. Kids step out of the tunnel and onto this damaged fabric that slides under foot and is very dangerous. A fall and injury hazard as of 2/28/2026.
Four metal tanks of unknown gas sitting along the B-Link on 3/1/26.
A tree has fallen and is blocking the trail back at the end of the Sherwood Oaks Park, as it approaches Clairmont Pl (cul de sac above)
Cherokee Drive, previously a dead end road, has recently opened up to the new neighborhood attached to RCA park. With the opening of the road, we are seeing increased traffic and that traffic is often traveling at speeds far exceeding the speed limit and what is safe, especially considering there are not sidewalks so pedestrians are forced to walk on the road. I’m requesting mechanisms be added to limit speed, like speed bumps, etc. to reduce risk.
