Sidewalk Requests

806 S Park AVE

Case Date:
3/27/2025

Is this broadband or sidewalk related? Concrete saws at work all over my neighborhood. That cut and some possibly related cracks running from utility covers to the curb are the first since I had my sidewalk replaced in the mid-1990s. For good reason, I assume.

Other

407 S Grant ST APT 3

Case Date:
4/24/2025

The resident at this location refuses to comply with lease terms regarding cleaning up their apartment. The conditions are going to contribute to unwanted pests and potentially other hazards. I have sent them notice, emailed and texted. The owner of Pavilion told me that the Hand dept will come out and either help put the resident in touch with resources or will have it cleaned and fine the resident. I just need to know if this is true and if I can get assistance getting them back in compliance with their lease terms instead of eviction. Thank you, Amber Anderson [email protected] 812-333-2332

Abandoned Vehicle

613 S Eastside Drive

Case Date:
4/24/2025

#201966 has been closed: 'Parking Officer has spoken to the owner and has made sure the vehicles are moved.' This was 4/9/2025. The Red Ford Truck and white SUV, parked in front of 613 S Eastside Drive, have not been moved an inch since that date, nor had they weeks before the Parking Officer addressed the issue with the owner. The Code of Ordinances of the City of Bloomington, Title 15.04.020 (2) defines an Abandoned Vehicle as: A vehicle left on public property continuously without having moved for three days. So the Parking Officer needs to talk to the owner again. He is not moving his vehicles, as the Code of Ordinances requires him to do.
