Intersection of 3rd and Pete Ellis is dangerous. Often a line for a left hand turn from 3rd develops to enter the B N parking lot. Island on 3rd doesn't allow traffic to get out of way from through traffic. Problem results in sudden braking and traffic congestion into College Mall and 3rd intersection. There is one big dumpster always full of overflowing trash.
Citizen claims crews began tearing up concrete outside her house this morning. Would like to know what's going on and would have appreciated some notice. Please check out per John Freeman. Both Street & Utilities say its not them.
SG returned customers' telephone call of Sunday 5/18/97. Customer said water had bad taste, but is OK now. Asked customer if he would like water tested. Customer declined.Case closed.
DENNIS SISCOE IS BUILDING A HOUSE AT 2419 W EVERGREEN DRIVE. APPARENTLY HE HAD TO COME ACROSS THE FRONT YARD OF MR. LUCAS' HOUSE TO HOOK ONTO THE CITY SEWER. IT HAS BEEN OVER TWO WEEKS AND THE TRENCH HAS NOT BEEN PROPERLY COVERED. THERE IS SEVERAL ROCK AND DEBRIS IN HIS YARD. HE WANTED TO KNOW IF THIS LINE HAD BEEN INSPECTED AND WHAT CAN BE DONE TO MAKE SISCOE CORRECT THIS PROBLEM. REFERRED TO THE MONROE COUNTY BUILDING DEPARTMENT.
