Over the holiday weekend, we had yet another water main break in Hyde Park Village. Happy to report that CBU was quick on the scene fix the problem and mostly cleaned up the mess. I would like to speak with someone regarding the issues as this was our second water main break in two weeks. I am the president of Hyde Park Village homeowners association. Unfortunately, after I sent you the first email this morning I found out we have yet a third Watermain break in our neighborhood located at 2699 South McCartney Ln. in Hyde Park Village. The construction contractor has placed the Road Closed barricades in two of the three lanes on High St. at the Hillside intersection. This is impeding the flow of traffic and is going to cause an accident. Once three cars fill the left turn lane, High St. is effectively blocked to North/South travel. There is now only more traffic going North on High St. with the roundabout closure. Please have the barricades removed or placed to the sides of the road. If someone cannot read the road closure signage properly, they will have to pay the price once they reach the closed roundabout.
We have no water. I know the city has been working on a break. The water advisory for our area has been lifted. Yet, we still have no water.
