Blocking this east-west corridor all summer is a disaster. Consider there are people in this town who DRIVE EAST WEST. This has diverted traffic to hillside and last evening the traffic on hillside going west was backed up from the light at high street through the roundabout near renwick. This was causing drivers to divert into the neighborhood north of there, flying through at high speeds. Open up our roads again, stop making driving impossible in Bloomington with all these sidewalks, bikepaths, street narrowing curbs that NOBODY uses. NOBODY. Put a plan into place to improve EAST WEST traffic. This is ruining the town.

Sidewalk ends at my property (4151) and west to Smith road. Unsafe for pedestrians to be in the "walking" or "bike path" on this road. Unsafe for drivers. Suggest you put sidewalk in on my side, and return the road lanes out here to 4 instead of 2. There are too many wrecks coming in right over this hill because of traffic coming east off 46 into town and over this hill and it is always backed up from light at smith road. Code violation- unshielded light on south side of the house, toward the east, causing glare beyond the property line, nuisance to neighboring property. It has been left on continuously for days.
