Apparently the diesel - electric buses enter into a "regeneration" cycle under idle to somehow clean out the soot particulates in the diesel exhaust system. Hot exhaust burns out the soot, right? It stinks all to high hel** and fills the cabin with what smells like CO - filled exhaust. I fear being asphixiated while waiting for the warm bus to begin it's route. I open a couple of windows everytime I board. Is this an exhaust leak, or is pumping hot regenerative soot exhaust gases including CO into the cabin, er.. normal? This smells awful and scares me everytime I ride a bus in these conditions. Please provide proof this is not a danger or remedy this nasty smelling problem.

Stephen was asking about the city's response to Malibou house as he is a resident of the street on which one of their houses is located and expressed that he is already dealing with the effects of slummy properties, and this is making it much more difficult to deal with. He complained about noise, traffic, and the overall parking nightmare that has become of his culdesac.

Currently, the city only has one method for filing noise complaints, which is to call the number listed on the city's website. Having only one reporting method is extremely ineffective, and limiting the reporting method to only verbal communication creates a barrier for accessibility. There are individuals who cannot communicate over the phone - like me. Illness stole my voice years ago, but my hearing was not impacted - I still hear the noise. I just can't report it. Not sure what an adequate fix would be, as it would have to be something that is regularly monitored. It’s was my understanding with the Malibu House and Jeff Jones that several houses on Chris lane had lost renting privileges . I still see the Malibu house is open and has renters . I thought all this ended June 1? Has something changed ?

The sidewalk from S Lakespur Ln. to Mother Hubbard’s is getting very over gown and muddy making it hard to walk on. There’s a lot of honey suckle and even poison ivy growing into the walking area.

Vegetation in side yard along Allen St. is obstructing passage along the sidewalk

The side walk going towards 2nd street on Allen the trees r grown covering the sidewalk making it unable to see while walking ur dog at night thought maybe it could use some weed whacking and tree trimming

Houses yard is excessively weed overgrown and unkempt. Weeds are causing issues bleeding into neighbors’ yards and spreading weeds to neighboring houses. It looks horrible and is a harbor for rats and other pests.
