customer called about the fire protection charge on a hydrant meter he has rented. He says he was only quoted the min. water service charge of 30.87 and not the additional 17.45 for the fire protection. I explained to him that the fire protection is a meter base charge for every meter. He still feels he shouldn't have to pay it since he says that amount was not quoted to him. He wanted someone with higher authority than myself to contact him.
Trucks are using their engine brakes on the bypass/College Mall Rd. It's very loud. I can hear them inside my house. Perhaps the police department could help restrict the use of engine brakes in this residential area.

bullet holes in bustop shelter glass fractured could break and cause injury. all sides shot up. check coffee shop across st for more errant shots.
Irresponsible party left bins by curb, now the full recycle bin is on its side spilling contents into ROW. This is a chronic problem in rentals. Do nothing renters/owners/managers should face elevated fines for littering when we have very capable and reasonably priced municipal trash collection. Yes, I am an angry old man. :)
