There is a disgusting amount of bird poop all over the sidewalks and it smells horrible, its all over the sidewalk when I am walking to any buildings near 3rd street for class. It is hard to avoid too because it is literally everywhere.
There is a large pile of snow that has been plowed into the newly installed cross walks at 17th Street and Eagleson Ave. The pile is causing visibility issues with pedestrians crossing here, causing a major safety issue. Please have the pile removed as soon as possible.
Multiple student have been hit and some hospitalized from trying to walk across this very dangerous intersection. Students use this crosswalk many times everyday and also at night. The lack of lighting, signs, stop lights, and increased drivers that aren't paying attention makes this issue urgent. As a current member and resident of the Alpha Gamma Delta house I use this crosswalk multiple times every day and rely on it to get me safely from one place to another. It is very frustrating to have seen all of these accidents happen and no solution being worked on for this humongous problem. Please add a stoplight or some sort of safety mechanisms. 1 accident was already enough, but now multiple is just outrageous.

There is an old light pole half way along the alley with a flood light high up that glares light across several lots and shines into my house and porch (748 S. Morton St.). This is not a Duke Energy pole. It is only identifiable by a number 4, about to fall off, and an inspection medallion dated 2003. The pole right at Morton, to which it is connected, says it is owned by Public Service Co. of Indiana, pole number punched into metal plaque 1627-709 and maybe also punched notches for Customer and Owned. An inspection medallion that says OSMOSE insp. 2018. D. This simplest way to end the light leakage would be to remove the light. If properly shielded to prevent the light leakage of course that would be okay too. I have photos, but I can't figure out how to add the file to this UReport. If you could send me an email address I can send the photos as a Word file. I would be glad to meet someone from the city and show them the source of the problem. There seems to be a leak at this location. The alley is always wet, or in this weather, icy. The ice extends onto the street. Pedestrians have to walk on the icy or walk on the street, and there’s too much traffic usually to walk in the street. There was a lot of ice there this morning (1/20) when it hasn’t rained or snowed recently, which is why I think there must be a leak from the house. Please fix this unsafe condition. Thank you.
