Stoplight at Basswood and Bloomfield has red light out
Good afternoon, My home is located on Azalea Lane. Our road is in bad shape. I know the winter was rough on roads throughout our entire City but I would kindly request that more than just filling the potholes be considered for this important thoroughfare which is connector to both Bloomington High School South and the Southside YMCA. In particular, the intersection of Azalea Lane and Wylie Farm Road is in terrible condition. The potholes have been filled, and refilled and filled again. There is nothing but bumps and ruts left. Additionally, it has been ages since I've seen a street cleaner on our road. There is a lot of tree debris blown around the medians and in general, things are looking shabby in our lovely little neighborhood. I would greatly appreciate someone putting some attention on these issues. Thank you, Heather Robinson
Re: Report 209409, which you closed. There is still white siding littering the easement just south of the southeast corner of the Hillside/High Street/Moores Pike intersection. You may have to get. out. of. your. car. to see it.
There are three work trucks parked on Driscoll between Dunn and Palmer that are not moved. They seem to belong to a company that is parking them there permanently. They have not moved in well over 72 hours.
Our trash was not picked up this morning. We are the only house on our street where it was not picked up.
Pothole(s) around the intersection of E. Covenanter Drive and S. Clarizz Blvd.
Pothole in the middle of the road heading up from the lights on E. Moores Pike and Sare Road. (more so on the east-bound side).
Used syringe found at the base of the alley that connects Coolidge Dr and Graham Dr (alley runs parallel to Rogers, behind 2400 S Rogers. The syringe is at the Coolidge Dr end of the alley.) Called the Indiana Recovery Alliance, but nobody answered and their voicemail is full. I would like to request removal.
large pothole at curb/sidewalk on 714 S. Eastside driveway
Recurring flooding is affecting yards and driveways in our neighborhood, with water reaching depths up to a few feet during heavy rain events. This occurs several times per year and has resulted in property damage, including several vehicles in the neighborhood. Two culverts carry water beneath the roadway at this location. Based on observed conditions, the culverts appear to be insufficient to handle stormwater during frequent events, creating a backwater effect that causes water to pond in residential areas upstream. Previous inquiries have indicated this may be attributed to the area’s flood zone designation. However, the frequency and severity of flooding suggest this exceeds typical floodplain conditions and may indicate inadequate drainage capacity. Requesting a formal evaluation of the culvert system and overall drainage, including assessment of capacity and consideration of potential improvements.
