Citizen says a tree has fallen in her yard which she thinks the city is responsible for, and also that her lot was skipped when trees were being planted, all her neighbors have them except her. Lee: This was a message & I haven't spoken w/her yet to get the full story. Would you let me know if this downed tree is ours? Also, I'm assuming the developer put in the trees in Kensington, not us? Thanks, Julio.
The lot directly behind 3026 Daniel Street has tall grass. It is at least 5 feet tall.
A few large potholes under the southbound side of the Adams Street railroad trestle (a/k/a UHaul Eater Bridge)
The bridge that is located here has some pretty big damage from being it over and over by moving trucks, box trucks, etc.. It was recently hit again and now has some noticeable damage of some broken rebar ( think that’s the name) that are now broken and sticking out. My concern is that the bridge that has a train go over it daily.. is not sound anymore after being hit so many times over and over. We drive under this bridge daily and I’m concerned it might fall or pieces break off. Has it been looked at by an engineer and after the last time it was hit? I think there is only a sign right before the bridge that people are not noticing until it too late!

Yet another U-Haul truck was torn open this evening at the Adams Street railroad crossing. This happens so often that it's become a running joke in town. What we need is an overhead crash bar that provides immediate, physical feedback to drivers before they collide with the bridge. See, for example, this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aUXCUEFzKFA. It would need to be installed far enough ahead that we wouldn't need to worry about railroad property lines. But even if we did, I'm sure this is one thing they'd be happy to cooperate with us on.
