There is a growing pile of garbage behind and alongside the house at 501 S. Mitchell. This adjoins a walkway that links two parts of Hunter Ave and it’s just above a waterway that feeds into the Jordan River. As a neighbor I’m concerned about rats and other sanitary issues likely to ensue.
1) Jordan and hunter light out 2) Jordan in alley between hunter and Atwater light out
This might not fall under city, so could you please forward if it does not. South Rogers was repaved about 3 weeks ago, but is yet to be striped. There isn't much lighting in that area, and it's impossible to see the road when driving at night. It's an accident waiting to happen. Thanks.
There are a lot of broken items or items that are NEVER used in the side yard and the back yard. This property is an eye sore and brings all of the surrounding property values down. The RV that sits in the drive way has not moved in FIVE+ years and is FULL of stored items.
There is a white SUV that regularly parks in the street beside this house on the corner. The plate number is: ey199. It is an I.U. plate. I think this house has recently been placed as a rental. There is no sidewalk there and it is hard to see traffic on 8th Street from Hopewell when the SUV is parked there.
Street light on east side of 37 north in front of McDonalds north is out
The street light on the southeast corner of Jordan Ave and Hunter St is out. I tried reporting this on the Duke website mentioned above, but it doesn't recognize Indiana as a valid area for the repair service. Maybe the city of Bloomington could followup with them?
