Citizen is manager of Jiffy Treet. Says sidewalk in front of business is very bad and several older people have almost tripped. Did not realize property owner is responsible....he rents from Claire Young, 812-597-5711. JA told him we'd have Street check it out (Tom Goldman).
Citizen "has observed many people stumbling and injuring themselves because of cracks and uneven spots along the pavement in front of Jiffy Treet along Kirkwood." Citizen wants repairs made to pavement.

The bench in front of Hazel's has a broken slat which could hurt someone. Apparently this bench was put in and is maintained by Landscape Div.

There are bagels all over the parking lot on the alley side of 425 E. Kirkwood.
Several commercial businesses have dumpsters located behind 425 E. Kirkwood. Someone has filled the dumpster that Jiffy Treat uses, and trash is everywhere. Mr. Martel has notified the Health Dept. about the rats in the area.
CHECK ALLEY BETWEEN BLOOMINGTON BAGEL AND WHITE MOUNTAIN WHICH LEADS TO BLOOMINGFOODS. ADDRESS GIVEN ON COMPLAINT IS JIFFY TREET AND CALLER IS FROM THERE. THERE IS CONSTRUCTION GOING ON IN THAT ALLEY AREA BUT THE TRASH MAY OR MAY NOT BE FROM THEM..COULD BE COMING FROM DUNN APTS. MOUNTAINS OF IT INCLUDING A TOILET ETC. AND THEY ARE STILL PILING IT ON.
