When will the Morton Garage’s elevator be fixed? Also is the city of Bloomington employee lots (where the farmers market is on Saturdays) open to free public parking after 5pm during the week?
Is the Morton garage 50 cents for an hour? The sign out front says 50 cents per half hour, but the city website says 50 cents for a whole hour.

Over the past several weeks (months?), it seems that more often than not the access control arms to the Morton St. parking garage have been open allowing free parking. This is great for those who don't have a permit, but it feels a little unfair to those of us who have a permit and continue to pay for parking. What's going on, how much longer is this anticipated to continue, and is there any recourse for permit holders? Thanks!

The backdoor is not locking now (I have tried) and inside it's a mess with evidence of trespassers using the house for various activities. BPD has visited the house three times in the past 60 days due to the back door standing open. With the weather and trespassing occurring at the I address, you need to get the owner's attention to lock it up and also care for it in a consistent manner. It has evidence of being abandoned. Also evident are the two waste and recycle toters at the front door - never touched by the homeowner. An advertisement that the house is vacant. Has BPD contacted you for enforcement help?
