The corner of Post Rd as you're approaching Staats on the right hand side is so overgrown with trees cars cannot be in the right lane. We walk to school with our daughter and have often had to get out of the way of traffic b/c this road is effectively 1 lane at the moment. 2 homes, the one at the corner of Staats and Post and the one at the corner of post and "Hollywood" both have shrubs/trees that impede traffic/walkers and make it even more dangerous than it should be. If the owners aren't willing to change this landscaping the city should have the ability to cut considering that the shrubs are covering no less than 3 ft into the street. This is dangerous for cars, walkers, and bike riders in the neighborhood. MUST BE ADDRESSED.

I appreciate you mowing so quickly after I called to mow. There is still overgrowth there. Furthermore, I have seen people coming in and out of the empty building that used to be the red cross. I don't think they are supposed to be there. Can you post a sign that says no trespassing? They broke a window within the last week to get in.

I was going to the CASA office and then to B-foods last week. I wanted to park my bike at this convenient bike rack on the B-line, only to discover that I couldn't because of the stupid scooters. No, I don't want them obstructing the walks or preventing my use of bike racks!

The occupants of this property store their several trash and recycling bins facing S Walnut St. At any given time, numerous pieces of trash litter the ground in front of the home, the parking area, and the alley. Their bins are often knocked over or overflowing. The trash has begun encroaching on the grounds of our office, which neighbors this home to the north. Thank you for your help.

The North/South alley between 810 W. 7th and 804 W. 7th is being encroached upon by gardens, woodpiles, trees/vegetation and possibly the fence and cinder block garage owned by 810 W 7th St. As a result, the alley traffic is being diverted outside of the alley right of way and onto the private property located at 804 W. 7th. This appears to have been going on for a number of years. As the new owner of 804 W. 7th St., it is my full intention to re-claim the property/property line currently being encroached upon and proceed with renovations. I request that the Street Dept contact the owner of 810 W. 7th and order the encroachments be removed. With the assistance of a surveyor, I have located the NW and SW corner pins delineating the right of way and pounded new T posts just outside of the right of way in those spots and plan to post the entire property line once the encroachments are removed. Were I to reclaim the property line today, the alley would become impassible due to said encroachments. I request your assistance in remedying this situation in a civil and legal manner, as requests to the homeowner of 810 W.7th have fallen upon deaf ears. I request that you keep me in the loop regarding this issue. I would be happy to meet with a representative of the street dept, with survey in hand, to assist in clarifying and remedying this issue, as renovations of 804 W. 7th will begin in a few weeks. Ugh I’m sorry to have to bother again! I understand there are far more important issues to be tended to but this is just getting ridiculous honestly. Once again I can hear the generator sound running and has officially yet again awaken my kids. My kids have school in the morning and I honestly don’t know what else I can do about this situation. If the electric bill is their issue and the SCCAP office is literally right in walking distance then maybe they should seek assistance to get help paying it. Again I’m very sorry to bother your officers with this issue once again.
