Citizen (Mark Land) apparently contacted Utilities before but was not satisfied with the response-- he missed a water payment because he was on vacation and is upset that the situation cannot immediately be fixed. He already paid the past due balance, but water was shut off. He was told it could be turned back on by 6 or by tomorrow, and he just wants it on sooner rather than later. Call (812) 272-1500. Water Dept: Help please: I am a Bloom City water customer. My water pressure dropped to almost nothing the evening of Dec 17, 2013 at approximately 7:30pm. Recently a City Water Main was reported broke and water flooded sidewalks and parking lots. A few days later the bank noticed it also left a coating of clay in the basement of the Chase Bank, 2642 E. Third Street, Bloomington, IN. Facility Manager notified city who sent out a Risk Assessor to look at the issue who told the bank personnel that they would call FM back and let him know that he would have to fill out legal forms if we wanted to pursue the city cleaning this up. I would to get a call about the next step and the forms to fill out.
