We continue to have storm water pooling in the drain in front of our house. We appreciate having the drain; would hope there would be a simple solution to mitigate the risk of pooling of storm water - in particular the risk of mosquitoes and the public health risk the bring - thanks - Kevin and Trudy Keough
Behind our property there are depressed areas in the field which appear to be getting bigger. During a recent rain storm my daughter indicated that you could hear water running under them. Not entirely clear if they are directly over the drainage piping that runs into our back yard/creek-bed but they're close enough that if one of the pipes was cracked or compromised it would likely create a sink hole. Would like to have someone come check it out just to make sure that it's safe to be around.
The issue occured in Winslow Woods Creek during native habitat restoration in the creek running north to south between Aug 3, 2023 and Aug 4, 2023. The Urban Greenspace volunteer Weed Wrangle team were working in a dry creek on Thursday Aug 3 pulling Japanese stiltgrass between 8am to 10am. On our return Friday morning Aug 4, 8am to 10am, we found the creek saturated, pools of water in some areas, our pulled weeds banked in small dams, all indicating a flood had occurred during the 24 hour period. It did not rain during this period. I called CBU 812 339 1444, on Aug 4, at 1:44pm, to ask if a water main had been discharged during the time in question. No one has returned my call. Storm drainage culvert on East side of Binford Elementary is continually flowing clear water even during dry summer times. It is flooding the front yard of 648 Woodscrest downstream. just started this summer. We thought it was runoff from the school AC units but now that weather has cooled, it is still flowing. Concerned there is a broken pipe under the school or nearby that is flowing continually into this storm drain under the school.

Just wondering where all the water in front of twin lakes rec center is coming from. It’s been wet in front for at least 2 months, consistently every day, and we have had little rain. I drive through this every day and just wondered what was causing this?
On the street, across from the house at 1490 E. Southdowns and close to the intersecting street of Eagelson, there is a visible and continuous stream of water that appears to be originating beneath the blacktop surface of the street. I first noticed it on a walk at about 4:30 pm today(12-10-23). When I returned home after 20 minutes, the water stream was still at the same level/amount as I initially observed. The water is draining directly into a storm sewer. I’m wondering if there is a water main break?
Storm sewers are blocked by debris on the streets causing water backup on the road. The street needs to be cleaned and debris removed from storm grates.
Storm drain has been blocked and will cause excessive water pooling when it rains. This is on the north side of the house-5th Street.
