There is a really big hole at the corner of East Thornton Drive and South Covey Lane - it gets bigger with each rain (water runs down the hill off Thornton). Do you think that this can be patched soon before it gets much worse? Thank you so much.
In front of our home, 2301 E Arden Dr, there is fairly significant erosion taking place along the edge of the road. I know it's hard on the snow plows and it's just crumbling and could use a fresh layer of tar. If you all could please add that to the repair list, I haven't noticed a lot of trouble elsewhere on the street, but we are on a corner, at the bottom of an incline, and near a water drain. I would really appreciate it. Thank you!!!
Potholes in gravel alley. They hold water allowing mosquitoes to breed.
It is stated that this is done but the picture clearly shows where there are still large pot holes that look like a small pond in between our parking lot and the apartment building across. There is obviously water in the large holes so if this needs to be done when it is dry outside I would think that would be the best time to fill it so it is even. The job work done in less than an hour time does not look like an efficient job.
Recently, I reported some damage to the E. Regents Circle street, which the City immediately fixed. The repair work was OUTSTANDING, by the way! The promptness and quality of the repair work was spot-on ... many thanks to the City! However, after a few months we've noticed that the asphalt used for the repair appears to now be "separating" from the original pavement of the East edge of street (see attached photo). Our concern is that as winter approaches, there will be opportunities for water/snow/ice to accumulate, freeze, and actually cause *more* damage to the original repair work. There are 3 DANGEROUSLY deep potholes on Lilac Court. One just as you turn into the street and 2 more about 3/4s of the way up the street, almost in the cul-de-sac. Normally I wouldn't even bother to report them but I guarantee these are some of the worst you've ever seen! Two of them have over a foot of water!
East Morningside Drive where it intersects E. 3rd street, a pothole can be found in the concrete gutter as bicyclists turn onto Morningside. Additional potholes occur all along Morningside. Storm water erosion has damaged pavement at the bottom of speed bumps, and at the end of the driveway at 101 E. Glenwood Ave. Additional holes across from Yorktown Apartments (near speed bumps).
The alley on the West side of 1124 W. 6th Street, heading South and North to 7th, needs grading and gravel. I put in a request last year with no response. The alley directly beside 1124 W. 6th (South bound) has leveled out to the point that water run off goes towards the foundation of my house (1124 W. 6th) instead of flowing out to the street.
The stretch on Smith Rd between Moores Pike and Snoddy Rd has alot of broken,uneven areas causing drivers to drive left of center to stay on "good pavement". Lots of standing water when it rains
