At bottom of driveway is larger patch of frozen water. We have had numerous water lines breaking and wonder if this is another? Ice patch is in curb and in street.

Our ask: Please retrench or otherwise definitively fix the water issue flowing from the high side of Brooks drive (addresses: 1213 and 1215) to the low side (address 2110 east Covenanter drive). Why: When heavy rains occur, high side water floods our yard and garden, resulting in 6 hours of work in clean up. History: In 2017 or thereabouts, the residents of 2110 east Covenanter reached out to the city regarding the water flow issue. At that time Phil Peden was the team lead. He showed me that the high side of Brooks had previously been trenched and there was piping under Brooks drive leading the water to Jackson Creek. He approached the 2 families in hopes of re-trenching, as he said it was the city’s responsibility to manage the water issue, as they had previously. Unfortunately, Phil was met with extreme resistance. To minimize neighbor impact, Phil’s team did trench some, and resolved 30% of the flow issue. He and I had a verbal agreement that I would try efforts on the low side of Brooks to protect my property from flooding. It seems that with the heavier rains, there remains a major issue of flooding despite years of my best attempts. At this time, I would appreciate further attention into this matter and a sustained / definitive fix from the city. Additionally, rocks from 1213 gravel drive continue to migrate across Brooks and deposit in my yard. I have been sweeping them back to their drive.

Water doesn't drain at all at this drain site. It pools in the street, and runs downhill overwhelming the drainage capacity on the other side of the circle down by 170 E Sunny Slopes Dr.

We have had a drainage issue here for 20 years and I have asked for help many times and no one will do anything to help us. Our grate is a poor design and gets clogged by yard debris from areas of the neighborhood and caused our area to flood. Tonight we were home to pull the grate to allow for water to recede and not go further into our garage to our house. Would someone please listen to us. We have reported this several times and also in person. We are afraid to be away from our home if there is a serious storm in the area.

The new builders on the corner of Covenanter Drive and High Street installed a pipe last week. Our concern is that the pipe was not installed low enough to keep the flow of water continuing to High street and beyond. With the rainy season coming...we are concerned that the pipe will make water back up on our property. The city just spent two weeks closing off High street to fix this issue and now we are concerned that the new builders have just put something in (but not properly installed it) so they could have a little rock culvert to get to their property off of Covenanter Drive. I sent an email to Vic Kelson and Brandon Prince on Thursday, but never heard back from them. I am writing again because we would like this matter to be taken care of now before they get more involved with building and it is too late to fix the problem. I would appreciate if somebody would get back with me on this matter. Thank you.

I am requesting a ditch or pipe be installed in the wooded easement south of my property that will move the water out to the storm drain that was recently installed last year on Waldron Street in front my house. On April 13th of this year, we received a lot of rain in just a couple hours and I noticed most of the water was coming from the wooded easement South of my house and running down into my yard, pooling up and overflowing down near my basement (where i've had flooding from the street runoff in years past). There is a drainage issue outside our neighbor’s home that is running in front of our home as well. The standing water has been there for about a year, is disgusting and has an odor that smells like fish. I am concerned about our children getting sick from getting this contaminated water on their hands and body. This is located on the cul-de-sac of S Bay Hill Court in Fieldstone Subdivision - specifically in front of 431 S Bay Hill Court. I am having an issue with my front ditch flooding every time it rains. This picture was taken today (June 2nd, 2021) during the light rain we experienced throughout the day. When we receive heavy down pours or rain for multiple days the runoff storm water puts my mailbox post underwater. Which, over time, rots the post (I have recently had it replaced). When the front yard does flood the water travels across the road in a 30-40 foot wide swath, several inches deep. When dry, the culverts (under my driveway and the one going under the road) can be observed as 95-100% silted in and obstructed. I have noticed over the past couple of years where the city has had the utilities marked and the culvert marked going under the road. Other culverts in the Park RIdge neighborhood have been replaced or repaired except for the one in front of my residence. I would appreciate an update on when this issue will be addressed.

Flooding/Standing water accumulates between the street and our fence. Looks like this may be part of the easement. This photo was taken in January, but it is a continuous issue whenever it rains. Can you please contact me to discuss this? Thank you!

4210 E. Hector Dr. Bloomington, IN 47408 We are having a lot of water issues. In the front driveway, they repaired the water mains in our neighborhood a couple years ago, and when they repaired the road, a ton of water goes from the road , straight down our driveway to the front of our house. It has caused water coming into the basement. And we had to install a drain in our driveway, and it still can't keep up. In our back yard, there is a channel of water (not sure what it's called) by the apartments that causes our back yard to flood. We have a tiny river, but it cannot handle the water that is directed to come right at our back yard. I would like to have an engineer come out and look at the issues and so we can have a conversation about possible solutions. Thanks.
