I am the owner-occupier at 1604 E University St. January 8-10, a water line had frozen and was repaired under the gravel alley that leads to the driveway/parking spots at the back of my house (and 3 other residences). At the conclusion of the repair, the two large holes that had been dug to access the water line had been filled in and some new gravel was spread over them. I do not believe that enough gravel was replaced, as the alley is now incredibly uneven and there are several large low spots that make it difficult to navigate, especially in the recent icy/snowy conditions. Is it possible for the City to add some more gravel to the alley?
First of all, thank you for filling in all the potholes I have mentioned to you over the past weeks. I must say that maybe there is a misunderstanding re # 163413. I don't see any water valve there and the pothole is still the same: intersection of Jordan and Sheridan. Not far from there is another pothole: on S Eastside Drive, where it intersects with First Street. Also, there is a utility cut in front of 1800 E Second, that is getting deeper by the day.
Hello, My name is Lauren McDonald, and I live in one of the units on 1109 South Rogers in Bloomington. There is a water meter in my front yard and the cover was not properly/safely re-attached. This morning I was walking across the yard and stepped on the cover, and my entire leg fell into the water meter. My leg is scraped, swollen, and bruised because of it. I placed the cap back on the hole, but provided a photo below. I spoke to Frank (unsure if his last name) about this issue on the phone, and they are planning to have it resolved. However, I did want it recorded that I was injured because of it. This could have seriously injured a child. I was wondering if you could please confirm receipt and understanding that I was injured because of this. Thank you, Lauren McDonald

Hole in road on Palmer just north of Dodds. Possible storm water pipe that has deteriorated, rusted sharp metal just below road surface.
There appears to be a leak in the water hydrant on Oak Street between 5th and 6th Street, at the alley. The east side of Oak Street is always wet even when it's not raining, and it's directly across from a hydrant. I couldn't find a place to share this information so please share it with the right group. Thanks!!!
excessive water runoff from South shoulder creates large patch of ice when cold. there doesn't seem to be appropriate drainage. rest of the street is fine
It is stated that this is done but the picture clearly shows where there are still large pot holes that look like a small pond in between our parking lot and the apartment building across. There is obviously water in the large holes so if this needs to be done when it is dry outside I would think that would be the best time to fill it so it is even. The job work done in less than an hour time does not look like an efficient job.
Potholes in gravel alley. They hold water allowing mosquitoes to breed.
