JAN GOLIGHTLY'S MOTHER OWNS THE PROPERTIES AT 201 & 203 BURKS COURT. SHE HAS FLOODING IN HER CRAWLSPACE (OVER 20" OF WATER). SHE WOULD LIKE TO GET SOME HELP FROM THE CITY IF POSSIBLE. SEE ATTACHED MEMO FROM DENISE, PERMIT CLERK.
MR. SHIDE STATES THAT HIS YARD FLOODS DUE TO THE CHANGE IN THE TERRAIN IN THE LAURELWOOD SUBDIVISION. WITH THIS LAST RAIN HIS ELETRIC TRANSFORMER & CABLES WERE COVERED UP WITH WATER CAUSING A DANGEROUS SITUATION. HE DID NOT HAVE A PROBLEM UNTIL WININGER STOLBERG CHANGED THE TERRAIN.
THE AREA BEHIND 3914 EMILIE CT (LOT 54-SHERBROOKE PLACE) & 3916 EMILIE CT (LOT53-SHERBROOKE PLACE) , THE GROUND SLOPES INTO THE ENCLOSED PORCHES IN THE BACK OF THE HOUSES. THESE PORCHES ARE TAKING ON TOO MUCH WATER. MR. JACOBS FEELS THAT THE PORCHES WERE SET ONE CINDER BLOCK TOO LOW.
Frasier stated that she had talked with Tom Todd last year about this problem. The water runoff from East Side Drive goes across her driveway and pools there. The water has caused potholes to form at the end of her drive. She put up a fence to prevent people from parking in her yard. She wondered if the City would, therefore, fill in the potholes for her. The complaint was never entered in the system. Kimberly Pitcher took the information in on the date above and went out to take a look at
