Trees in right of way have been tagged for removal on S High between Arden and Wimbleton for recreational trail project. Will debris be removed from this? When Duke contractors trimmed trees on opposite side of street they left behind an awful mess.

The gravel/cinder trail between the parking lot and the large shelter is now a flowing stream. There's a waterfall on the hill/cliff that normally turns and flows parallel to and then under the trail, but has overflowed its banks at the spot where it turns. It's eroded part of the trail all the way to the parking lot (stopped by the paved pedestrian "lobby", where it is pooling). Not a disaster, but it does push pedestrians onto the grass. Wanted to make sure you were aware. Thanks for all you do to keep our parks in such great shape overall!

The two large limestone stones at the entrance to the Jackson Creek trail are being damaged. It started with the rock breaking off, but this morning the pieces had been used to scrawl names and words on the stones.

About .5 mile into the rail trail is a large homeless camp (off Country Club) from the entrance. The sites continue to grow & pop up. There are multiple concerns with this. 1. Contamination with the water by litter, human waste, & drug paraphernalia. 2. Affects to wild life through trash & humans inhabiting their homes. 3. Land is affected by litter & drug paraphernalia such as glass pipes & needles. 4. There are safety concerns with children playing in the creek due to human waste & drug paraphernalia being in the water, they could get diseases from contaminated needles or step on glass pipes. 5. This is a dangerous location for the homeless as they are in a flash flood location. It has completely flooded out on 2020 & 2019. 6. Safety concerns with those using the trail or those who live in the neighborhood on the other side. One of our tenants contacted the police for fear of someone being outside of his home in the middle of the night. We have also noticed foot prints being outside the windows when there was snow on the ground. We can send additional photos it needed & have also reported to Rebecca Swift. I do believe others in the community are noticing & possibly reporting. Thanks Danny & Zella Taylor

Hello, there is a partially down tree which is blocking access to this trail. The trail goes behind the Renwick subdivision on Sare Road and is just before the underpass (if you are coming from Sare Road).

There is a birch tree vandalized with racist hate. Vertically, in large letters, is the N word and above it is carved the initials of the KKK. I hope something can be done to erase this message of hate from this beautiful bike trail. To find the vandalized tree, start at the parking lot with the yellow gate and take a left, through the grassy field with the pile of logs to the right. Continue the trail until you get to what I call the staircase of roots. At first, the birch tree in question will be to the right, but to see the hateful message, you'll have to turn around so it is to your left.
