Hello my name is Clifton Stephney owner of C&T Clean Team here in Bloomington. With the virus going around we are getting more calls for cleaning and we are trying to respond to them all. Unfortunately we are not able to buy gloves and most importantly we can't find mask. Is there anyway you can help us find them? Thank you, Clifton Stephney C&T Clean Team 812-219-8843

This South Carolina town has produced these very inexpensive masks and are handing them out for free. They are based on IU professor and Bloomington resident Jiangmei Wu's free origami design. They can be easily assembled by the user using rubber bands and are made of paper. Something for Bloomington to think about doing. Thank you. I have been ill with non covid-19 pneumonia and sinus infection for several weeks. I could not have gotten through this period of time if not for the amazing team at Walmart and delivery partners. I know it’s not over but I am feeling so grateful this morning. I am high risk given I’ve been so sick, I’m over weight and I have asthma. They very likely have saved my life. First responders are recognized and given honors by cities all the time so I’m suggesting that someone reach out to or Walmart and all of our local grocery stores at some point so we can bestow some sort of award or honor to these men and women. I’m sure your offices are spread thin right now but at some point I’m the near future I hope this idea will be visited. I would be happy to donate my time any way I can be of use. I am excellent on the phone as I managed a local call center for several years. These workers are not paid well. I believe they need and deserve a huge boost in morale. Local businesses might be willing to give back to them in some way via a discount or free meal etc. Ago at least be acknowledged for the great worth of their hard work and diligence is so very important! Hello, we live in Sherwood Oaks and there is not a safe way to get to the biking trail starting on Rhorer at Walnut Street Pike. People are often walking or biking up the last two blocks of Walnut Street Pike to reach that connection. It's not safe. We'd be so grateful if the sidewalk could be completed on the East Side of Walnut Street Pike between Rhorer and Heather Drive. This would allow people to access Kroger and the Rail Trail more safely. Other wishlist items are paving the rail-trail that connects the B-Line and Clear Creek Trail, and extending sidewalks along Rhorer all the way from Walnut Street Pike to Sare (or at least to Benson). It would also be nice if the sidewalk along the East Side of Walnut Street Pike extended all the way from Rhorer to Winslow, but finishing a sidewalk on the E or W side of Walnut Street Pike between E. Heather and Rhorer is really essential to pedestrian and biker safety. We love all of the investments we're seeing Bloomington making in parks, recreation and infrastructure. We really value this as a family with young children. We're just surprised how patchy the sidewalks surrounding our neighborhood are, with some suddenly stopping (Walnut Street Pike + Rhorer) and others reworked only to a certain point (example biking from Winslow Plaza east to Highland or Allendale is challenging). This makes it difficult to access all of the new paved biking/walking trails that connect to the Rail Trail and B-Line. We hope that COVID-19 does not make continued investments in sidewalks and walking paths impossible. Sincerely, Andrea Nikolova and Dimitar Nikolov 1044 E Jennifer Dr

I understood about the cancelation of services last week due to the weather. Today my trash was picked up but not the recycling. I do live on a cul-de-sac in Peppergrass, but I did not see anyone else's recyle containers left out. I left for work before things were picked and got home just a little while ago. Now I have two weeks worth of recycling in my container. Can anything be done about this before next Thursday. I did put my container back in the garage. Please let me know when I can put it back out for pick up

The portable restrooms located near the basketball court at Switchyard Park are in terrible condition and have been for weeks. The attached photo is an indication of how it looks every day. More generally, the restroom situation at Switchyard needs to be reviewed. closures during the winter months are not only inconvenient, they are not practical for the many people who use the park during the winter. Moreover, the amount of trash at Switchyard, especially near the pickle ball courts, the basketball court, and the bocce ball courts is awful. And on the bocce courts, there still is no rake for grooming the courts for play. I realize that the summer months are coming and there are likely to be more people working and volunteering in the park to keep it clean and safe. However, for a park as popular as Switchyard, there needs to be a review of how resources for maintenance are allocated to it. For example, there seems to be no reason the restroom within the police substation needs to be closed in the winter. And it would be nice to have lights installed at the pickle ball courts. speaking of the pickle ball courts, might it be possible to install a rack where players can leave their paddles to indicate who is next for a court? Maybe a 1-hour time limit if people are waiting? Thanks for listening.
