Called to report a rat infestation in Kensington/Hyde Park. She has 22 rat holes in her yard alone. Someone from MoCo Public Health came out recently, after Ms. Nephew called that department, and found rat holes on 8 properties across 3 streets, minimally. I suggestd that Ms. Nephew contact both Animal Control and HAND because there's an ongoing issue with her neighbor leaving out birdfeed, debris and composting materials that are likely feeding the rats. Cell 812.327.7552 and home 812.323.9271

Larry Williams called into Elizabeth Walter at the Mayor's office to complain about the property at 612 N. Monroe being over run with cats (around 10) and trash. He owns four neighboring properties: 623, 631, 635, 639 N. Monroe. He filed a uReport about this himself over a month ago and said there hasn't been any progress on the matter. I filed this for Animal Control but HAND and Public Works may be interested as well since there is an abundance of trash as well.
