There is a Lime scooter blocking the driveway to the 6th Street Garage of the Monroe County Public Library. The garage and driveway are both used daily by our facilities and mobile outreach staff. I drive the Outreach Van and the scooter is parked in such a way that it blocks my ability to pull in and reverse the van in order to to load and unload it with materials for community members.

The proposed legislation would also ensure that a “driver is NOT liable for injury or death caused if fleeing for safety from a mob.“ create or refine and make clear the or a law to support law to make criminal offenses for the following activities: when 7 or more persons are involved in an assembly and cause damage to property or injury to other persons to destroy public property during a violent or disorderly assembly 1st degree misdemeanor for a participant in a violent or disorderly assembly to harass or intimidate a person at a public accommodation, such as a restaurant RICO liability attaches to anyone who organizes or funds a violent or disorderly assembly. I live in Garden Hill trailer court and there is a scooter that has been in my sight for a week now. I live in 132, and looking west out my window, it is parked in front of an empty lot on the last road before Curry Pike. I know it's not supposed to be there. Hoping someone will come pick it up...
Power went out again in Park Ridge East. Power should not go out this often. I know not directly under City control but City officials should be advocating for consistent stable power as a minimum for City infrastructure. I've never lived somewhere where it goes out as often and as for long as here. Can someone at the City please prod Duke to provide more reliable power? If there is anything we can do let us know but we need our elected officials to ring in.
