I just went swimming at Mills Pool this weekend for the first time. I recall having a credit remaining from the previous year, but the attendant indicated that these credits don't carry over nor are they refunded. It doesn't seem like it would be too much trouble to allow credits for swimming to carry over from the last year. I hope this is something you will consider for pool users in the future.
Our son plays Babe Ruth baseball at Winslow on the Gold Field. We are very unhappy with the lights there. There are several lights burned out on each pole and when the 7:45 game is going on it gets very dark. It is quite dangerous, especially around home plate for the batter, catcher,and umpire. Someone is going to get hurt. If it is our son, we won't hesitate to take action. The lights need to be replaced!
We are wondering if there is a nurse who attends Karst Farm daycamp. Our son has a strong peanut allergy, and is required to carry an EpiPen. According to the authorization form, parks and rec employees are not allowed to administer injections. In our opinion our son is too young to inject himself, not to mention while having an anaphylactic attack he might not be able to think clearly enough to inject himself . So what this sounds like, is if he has an attack then he must wait for the ambulance to show up to inject his EpiPen. This is ludicrous. Please call me back in the morning with some clarification. I registered for the Homegrown Farm Tour and have realized I can no longer attend so I would like to cancel my two reservations (under my name) and get a refund.
