I'd like to submit a request to have the bike path and sidewalk cleared of overhanging vegetation. This is particularly dangerous at the curve of Eastgate and 46 as walkers have to walk on the street where cars quickly turn onto Eastgate. See red line indicating area where vegetation encroaches upon the boundaries of the bike path and sidewalk.
Good news: curb cuts being added on E Covenanter! Bad news: desperately needing oversight and quality control. This curb cut FAILS several accessibilty standards.
I am not requesting a sidewalk, only that the city finish a sidewalk project it started a long time ago. Three years ago the city installed a new sidewalk on the south west quadrant of Kinser Pike and the 46/45 Bypass. A black fabric erosion barrier was installed and never removed. This eyesore has been in place since the completion of the project. The State of Indiana is unable to mow this area because of the obstruction. It would be nice if the city would remove this so it can once again be mowed. According to the city this area is part of the "scenic gateway corridor" to Bloomington. The city or a utility installed a new sidewalk. There are multiple pieces of rebar sticking straight up about eight inches on each side. The sidewall is marked with two orange construction cones. I presume the workers will be back at some point, but I don’t know when. Halloween brings a lot of foot traffic in this neighborhood, and I think folks may ignore the cones. It would be greatly appreciated if the rebar could be trimmed or otherwise handled before then. Thank you.
I was wondering if there can be a cross walk at this intersection. There is no good place to cross Third Street. I have taken my kids across this road many time and know that there are a lot of other people that cross here too. It would be helpful and create a safe/designated place to cross.
Intersection of 8th and Woodlawn is in desperate need of a marked/lighted crosswalk or even a stop sign. It is very dangerous to cross as a pedestrian because traffic simply does not stop for you.
Line of sight blocked due to weed overgrowth from Euclid street to this address. You cannot see cars/semi trucks coming down the hill!
Page 3 of the Winslow Resurfacing project plan shows that multiple tree stumps along Winslow Road near the intersection of Allendaywere to be removed. The project shows as complete, but these stumps were not removed. Additionally, just East of the stump area the bushes along the fence are so overgrown that it makes it difficult to walk on the sidewalk in this area. Can they be trimmed back to the fence line so the sidewalk can be used? Thank you
When will the grass be mowed along the side of the road? It is getting so tall it is difficult to see oncoming traffic when exiting Meadowbluff Ct. Thanks
