Hello - I sent an email to sanitation department Wednesday morning but haven't heard back so trying this route... I live at 1205 S Washington St and our trash can went missing sometime between 1am and 9am early Tuesday morning. I've sent a note around to the neighborhood email list in hopes that someone will notice a random one abandoned in their yard. But so far no one has. A neighbor thinks he may have heard it traveling north on Lincoln near the intersection of Dodds around 2am). What's the next step? We don't produce much trash so could likely skip a week of trash pickup if there's a chance it'll be spotted by your tracking equipment elsewhere. Thanks for your help, Jenn

Trash can set down in middle of driveway, trash can dumped over in middle of road. This happens more often than not.

I am a condominium owner at the Woolery Mill Townhomes Section 2, a condominium community located at 1250 West Adams Hill Circle, Bloomington, IN, 47403. Every week, we have over-flowing trash bins. Often, I cannot add my trash to the bins, but must wait until they are emptied (otherwise I would add to the problem). I have photos from several weeks that this has happened. I have submitted this problem to the property management company, Jamar Property Management, LLC, several times. I have lived at these condominiums since August of 2021, and the problem has never been resolved. Would you please intervene? A simple increase of trash pick-up would probably solve the problem. We've also been told that one bin is for recycling and one isn't. But, there are rumors that the "recycle" bin really isn't recycled. No one seems to know for sure and we have not been informed by the management company. Thank you very much for your time, help and consideration. I appreciate it very much. I tried to attach a photo of what the bin looks like today, but I don't see that it was attached. I have several photos with dates that this has occurred continuously. It happens weekly. If you contact me by email, I can send you several photos of this on-going problem. Again, thank you very much for your help. This is a nice community, but the overflowing trash bins are inexcusable, unsanitary, and an eyesore.

Today I've decided to complain about an issue I started regularly noticing months ago. Whoever is now collecting trash &/or recycling on our street, S. Eagleson Av, in the section between 2nd and Sheridon, is routinely dumping the recepticals on their sides on the ground whereever convenient. (See photo) This morning they left my neighor's on the ground blocking the entry way to our common driveway. When I came to move it, I realized they had also broken the lid. Then as I drove south on S.Eagleson, I saw that this was done all the way to Sheridan, where I assume the truck turned. At least half the bins were on their sides, some in the street. I took four photos the whole way, as well as two of my neigbor's receptical- Unfortunately your portal only allows a single photo, but I have all the others. Please address this situation. There is no reason the recepticals can't be placed upright, but at least they should be neither broken nor left on their sides in the street, on a sidewalk or in the entrance to a driveway. Trash collection for 1400 block East Atwater -- that address is 1404 East Atwater (property with a lot of trees in front yard -- house # is on a tree near sidewalk, by steps), not 1406. Trash container is on sidewalk, next to wall. Please pick up. Thank you.

Tuesday, May 9 2023 Trash and recycling pickup personnel are leaving bins knocked over and in the middle of driveways. Maybe need a refresh course on how to put the bins back down after dumping them / maybe a new employee. This doesn’t usually happen on our route… sometimes but it’s not usually.

Trash pick up is normally scheduled for Tuesdays. It is now Wednesday evening and trash still has not been picked up. My can is full and I have no where to put trash. I understand if issues arise and trash pick up cannot happen, but residents should be notified and there has been no notification. When will my trash be collected?

Trash hasn't been picked up for 1400 block East Atwater. It has been picked up on the 1500 block, as well as Swain Ave. around the corner. Was put out Sunday but the container is still full at 9:15 a.m Monday. At 82 years old I'm physically incapable of lifting full trash container to carry it back up the steps to my yard even if I was willing to leave it until next week.
