Lights out The tall large multi head lights that illuminate the 3rd St. exit onto and off of 37S. and north are out again. I'm sorry that I can not remember which one specifically. ( I think it is the one on the off ramp when going north) I know I called in the bank of lights that illuminate the on ramp coming off of 3rd st. exit going onto 37S. but what seems to have happened is that they rerouted the power from one bank of lights for another. Street light out at intersection. It's been like this for a long time. It's the one exactly on the intersection. Also the storm sewer grate at this same location is clogged.

I'm the homeowner at 2424 E. Cathcart St. A light pole was recently installed, but the light fixture has not yet been installed. The pole is directly in front of our house. We don't want this street light shining into our home windows at night. We are requesting a light fixture on that pole that is a "dark sky" type, which only shines downward, not 360 degrees. That light would otherwise ruin our nighttime, contaminating us with unwanted light from the street. I don't know who is or will be responsible for this installation. Amazingly, no one has contacted us about it.

I wrote you a week ago about a street light that has gone out on our street. Our neighborhood is really dark and we would appreciate if it can be fixed very soon. We have had 1 attempted burglary and a theft of a truck in the time that I have asked that the street light get repaired. We would really appreciate if this issue can be fixed as soon as possible. The street light in question is the one opposite our property on 1104 S. Covenanter Drive. Also, we think that there was an issue with the street light when it did work as it would stay on 24 hours a day. Thank you.

The streets and sidewalks are very dark when the sun goes down. I am requesting street lamps are put in place to protect those walking home from campus or the bars. As the sun sets earlier, many students are leaving class or the library after dark. I also almost hit someone driving home who was crossing the street simply because I could not see them. I believe rates of reported instances would decrease simply due to being aware of our surrounding (people).
