Hi, I work in a commercial building at 800 S College. Our building was recently sold to Storage Express and they have proven to be negligent in terms of snow removal. They have failed to clear our whole lot these past two weeks (leaving not enough cleared spaces for our business needs) and I have now had to twice dig out our one handicapped parking space by hand. We have addressed this with them in person and they were not responsive to our concerns. We are responsible for clearing our immediate walkway, but they are responsible for lot clearing and maintenance as per our lease. Our building is almost entirely service professions (massage, salon, barbers), and we have many older clients and folks with mobility issues and it is becoming a safety hazard. I am aware HAND handles residential citations, but am unaware of the proper channel (if any) for commercial properties. Would gladly accept any assistance. Thanks so much!

Hello, I am not sure if I am in the right place or not, but we just moved to a new edition called Charlestowne Manor. A plumber on our road was found unresponsive in his car and is still unresponsive. The dispatchers did not know where we were because Triple Crown Drive is NOT on the map. If the dispatchers had known where we were located (the Ellettsville Fire Station is LITERALLY across the street and the guys could have ran there faster than they got there) the guy might have a better chance of survival. How do we get on the map?

Help me understand why the library is still closed down (for the most part) surrounding public libraries are open plus Marion county where you can physically walk in the building how is it that something that's funded by taxpayers they can just stay in there pull a paycheck and it's just okay.

I'd like to honor the late Billy Graham by changing the Bloomington roads with "Graham" in the name (i.e., East Graham Place, Graham Drive, etc.) to "Billy Graham." Billy Graham Place, Billy Graham Drive, etc. Not sure how to go about this request. Thank you for any assistance.

downtown on the square, in front of the "tap" nightclub (across from chase bank), today i noticed that there isn't enough room between a bike at a bike rack there and the outdoor enclosure for tables at the tap. there might be enough room for a regular wheelchair to get thru, but not a large wheelchair. and i am referring to someone who would be passing by there (not going to the tap). even though i am not in a wheelchair, that's what it looks like, so someone might want to measure the area there for a.d.a. compliance, please. thanks

VOLUNTEER NETWORK ISSUE: I tried to use the Volunteer Network to sign up for ushering Cardinal Stage events. I had completed all usher slots in the Cardinal sign up, then found out that it is now via Volunteer Network. I tried to complete usher sign up, for the shows I had already done sign up for, and made a huge mess. I believe I am now registered for every Cardinal show of Garfield EXCEPT the one I wanted. Please remove me from all the shows I have signed up to usher as it appears in the Volunteer Network.. To whom it may concern...! We have one gentleman, name Adrian Dove, had gave Mr Martin Luther King award to General Hun Manet, he is a son of Mr Hun Sen PM, of Cambodia, an dictator for over 40 years in power , their hands soak with the Khmer people blood and also team up with the killing fields. To whom that gave this Dream Dr Martin Luther King, to the real criminal to their own people, with out do more research.The International human right have condemn them for human abuse ,killed the un-arm and innocent demonstration worker, just asked for reasonable wage for living & 160.00 monthly, he ordered to shoot and killed them , dead bodies and injured all over the street and also arrested them and jailed term for no reason....and many ..many more ....In this case , We Khmer people we do not want to give this Dream Award to this General and for some one had bribe and pay for a lot of money......Thanks from Cambodian People ( Khmer People ...)

John, I wanted to let you know what a wonderful job Bet Savich did last week to help the Hoosier Hills Food Bank. I volunteer there, and found that the just-closed Marsh West had donated over a thousand wall calendars to the Food Bank along with other things. The Food Bank had no use for the calendars and was about to recycle them, so I contacted Bet, she sent out an email to her community partners, and I was able to find homes for more than 700 calendars at the Bloomington Housing Authority, Hannah House, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Crawford Apartments, MCCSC Adult Literacy, the MCPL's VITAL program, SCCAP, and the Animal Shelter. Bet made it so easy for me to locate the nonprofits that could benefit from these calendars, the Food Bank didn't have to drown the Recycling Center in calendars, and the nonprofits' clients got nice calendars for free. She offers such a wonderful service for the city! Best, Margie
