Ms. Anderson wrote to say how beautiful the garden plantings around town are, especially the areas around the Showers Bldg. She feels the flowers are well chosen and artfully planted and they contribute a great deal to the beauty of the city. Also, complimented the staff on the wildflower planting north of Miller Showers. (see attached letter).

Wildflower planting in Miller Showers Park: Going north on college you can't see on-coming traffic. Across from the hotel when you cut across you can't see cars coming south -- almost had a wreck.

Park Square Park: Just mowed and did not pick up limbs - her husband picked up the debris himself. Very upset over this because they mow around it - they are piled up by trees. Do not like to look at the eye sore. This has been going on for 2 years. Wants the branches picked up ASAP!

Bryan Park Basketball Court: the basketball rims are made in such a way that the ball goes in and out instead of through. He says that is they reason why games take so long and people are always waiting for a court to use.

BRYAN POOL: HER LITTLE BOY SLIPPED AND CUT HIS FOOT ON THE FLOOR AND WOULD LIKE FOR US TO TAKE A LOOK AT IT. SHE SAID THE LIFEGUARDS WERE VERY HELPFUL AND TOLD HER THAT THEY SWEPT THE AREA THAT HE CUT HIS FOOT, BUT SHE WANTS TO FIND OUT WHAT HE CUT HIS FOOT ON. SHE IS TAKING HIM TO TO DOCTOR TODAY TO HAVE THEM TAKE A LOOK AT IT.

Caller complained about parking at the lot east of the tennis courts @ Bryan Park. She indicated that the lot is full of students who are parking and walking to class, leaving very few spaces vacant for park patrons.

A woman called to report that she hurt her elbow on exposed screws on the tube slide @ Bryan Park Pool. Male supervisor seemed unconcerned and not too interested. The supervisor did not fill out an accident report form. She recommends that we check and fix the screws before someone else gets hurt again.

Swingset @ 3rd St. Park - poured in concrete - jagged edge of concrete right by swing. Dangerous situation. He feels the concrete was poured too high - doesn't feel filling in with wood chips will take care of the problem.
