FOG PILOT PROJECT COORDINATOR                                                                                        INTERNSHIP DATES: 01/28/2019- 05/01/2019

UTILITIES-ENVIRONMENTAL                                                                 

 

DESCRIPTION

Conducts field sampling for the FOG (fats, oils, and grease) program. Assists in evaluating grease retention devices and the food service establishments that are using them. Uses sampling and evaluation results to make policy recommendations regarding related code and/or enforcement.

 

REQUIRED TRAINING/SKILLS

Communication and professional writing skills. Organizational and project management skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Access, and Word.

 

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION

Graduate level coursework in Environmental Science or the equivalent knowledge, skills, and experience, required. Experience executing programs, conducting field sampling, and using related tools, required.

 

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

Operator Driver's License. Ability to carry 30 lbs of equipment. Must be able to work in adverse weather conditions.

 

HOURS

10-2 p.m., Monday-Friday

$12.00 per hour
