The Fleet Maintenance Division of the Public Works Department is responsible for the 24 hour a day safe and efficient maintenance and repair of the City of Bloomington’s fleet of over 650 vehicles and equipment units assigned to all City departments. The division is also tasked with providing for the purchase and distribution of unleaded and diesel fuel to the City's fleet. These services enable City departments to have the necessary vehicles or equipment on hand to provide a wide range of vital municipal services to both residents and visitors of Bloomington.
