BEAD Announces Interim Schedule of Classes to be Offered at the John Waldron Arts Center

Bloomington, IN - The City of Bloomington Entertainment and Arts District (BEAD) will be offering classes at the John Waldron Arts Center April 5 to May 16, during the period of interim City ownership of the facility.

Courses offered and times are as follows:

Ceramics

• Hand-building (School age) - Susan Snyder, instructor. Saturdays, 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. (Class begins April 3)
• Wheelthrowing and Hand-building (School age) - Susan Snyder, instructor. Mondays, 4 to 6 p.m.
• The Art of Ceramics (Adults) - Susan Snyder, instructor. Mondays, 6:30 to 9 p.m.
• Hand-building (Adults) - Jamas Brooke, instructor. Tuesdays, 6 to 8:30 p.m.
• Wheelthrowing (Adults) - Jamas Brooke, instructor. Thursdays, 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

Drawing and Painting

• Stretch Your Wings in Watercolor (Adults) - Linda Meyer-Wright, instructor. Mondays, 1 to 4 p.m.
• Watercolor for the Beginning and Intermediate Painter (Adults) - Jacki Frey, instructor. Tuesdays, 6 - 8 p.m.
• Painting for Impatient and Hesitant Beginners (Adults) - Michael Teague, instructor. Mondays, 6:30 to 9:30 p.m.
• Drawing for Beginners and Beyond (Adults) - Michael Teague, instructor. Wednesdays, 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
• Painting from Photographs and Your Imagination (Adults) - Michael Teague, instructor. Wednesdays, 6:30 to 9:30 p.m.
• Painting for Impatient and Hesitant Beginners (Adults) - Michael Teague, instructor. Thursdays, 1 to 3:30 p.m.

Voice

• Hybrid Voice (Adults) - Meera Popkin-Tarack, instructor. Mondays, 7 - 8 p.m.
