CDBG funding is federal community development assistance dollars provided annually to the City by the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development.

Applications can be picked up in HAND, located in City Hall, 401 N. Morton, Suite 130, Monday through Friday between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., or downloaded online at https://bloomington.in.gov/documents/viewDocument.php?document_id=885.

In 2010, HAND allocated $593,972 of CDBG funding to physical improvements and $137,070 to social services.

Applicants interested in learning more about these grants are invited to attend an informational meeting on Tuesday, Sept. 14 at 8 a.m. in the McCloskey Conference Room in City Hall. All agencies new to the CDBG process are encouraged to attend.
