BEAD Offers Board Development Workshop

Bloomington, IN -- The City of Bloomington Entertainment and Arts District (BEAD), in partnership with the Indiana Arts Commission, will be hosting a two-day board development workshop for arts and cultural organizations presented by FlashPoint Human Resources Consulting of Indianapolis. The workshop will be April 15 and 16 in City Hall Council Chambers, 401 N. Morton Street.
Participants in this workshop will learn techniques for building a board recruiting strategy, and tools for interviewing, retaining, onboarding and developing board members. FlashPoint will also present methods for assessing and diagnosing the current state of an organization and ideas on delivering a positive and engaging board member experience. Registration for this workshop is open to arts and cultural organizations throughout the state of Indiana.
