City to Announce Bicentennial Plans at Press Conference on Monday
Bloomington, Ind. - Mayor John Hamilton will announce the City’s plans to celebrate the upcoming bicentennial during a press conference on Monday, December 11, at 9:30 a.m. The City is planning many events, activities and public projects in 2018 to mark the 200th year Bloomington has been a city. A logo that is specific to all Bloomington sponsored bicentennial events will be revealed for the first time at the event.
The public is invited to attend the press conference, which will take place in the atrium of City Hall, located at 401 N. Morton Street. Those in attendance will be among the first to receive bicentennial logo buttons!
