City Planning and Transportation Director Resigns

Bloomington, Ind. - City of Bloomington Planning and Transportation Director Christy Langley has resigned her position, effective January 27. Langley began her duties with the City on March 28, 2016.

Deputy Mayor Mick Renneisen commented, "When you recruit and hire great people - especially those in high visibility positions - they get noticed. We will miss Christy and wish her the best in her future endeavors."

The City Human Resources Department will begin a national external search to fill the vacancy immediately.

An interim director is expected to be named later this week.
