Jeff Underwood Appointed City of Bloomington Controller

Bloomington, Ind. - Jeff Underwood has been appointed by Mayor Mark Kruzan as the new City of Bloomington Controller.
He is currently the Chief Operating Officer and Senior Director of Finance & Administration at the Kelley Executive Education Foundation, which supports the efforts of the Indiana University Kelley School of Business. He has also been Senior Project Manager at Harmon Construction and was Deputy Commissioner and Controller for the Indiana Department of Administration. Underwood served as City of Bloomington Controller and Chief Information Officer for the City of Bloomington from 1994 to 1999. Underwood is a graduate of Indiana University, a Certified Public Accountant, and a Chartered Global Management Accountant.

"We're pleased to have someone of Jeff's breadth of experience in both the public and private sectors join the team," Kruzan said. "His prior service with the City will allow him to hit the ground running."
"I look forward to rejoining the City of Bloomington," Underwood said. "I enjoyed my previous time in the organization and am excited to once again serve our community."

Underwood will begin Tuesday, Sept. 2.
