Public Meeting Held to Discuss Road Improvements

Bloomington, IN - The City of Bloomington invites the community to participate in the discussion of proposed improvements to the intersection of Sare and Rogers Roads during a public meeting on Thursday, Jan. 21, from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the City Council Chambers, 401 N. Morton Street.

City engineering staff and Brock Ridgeway of Eagle Ridge Civil Engineering Services, LLC will make a brief presentation, which will be followed immediately by a comprehensive question and answer session.

The project proposal incorporates increased safety strategies for both pedestrians and drivers at this intersection. The public meeting will allow residents to offer opinions and suggestions as well as ask detailed questions about the purpose, design and implementation of the plan.

In addition to comments or questions made at the meeting, written ones will be accepted through Thursday, Feb. 11.
