City Announces Spring Cleanup at Rose Hill, White Oak Cemeteries

Bloomington, Ind.—The Bloomington Parks and Recreation Department is conducting a spring cleanup of Rose Hill and White Oak Cemeteries beginning the week of March 12.

According to Operations Coordinator Barb Dunbar, the annual cleanup includes removing and disposing of flower arrangements, pots, damaged or faded flags, and broken knickknack decorations.

Families who wish to keep flowers or other decorations may remove them before March 12.

Decorations policies at both cemeteries prohibit the use of any glass decorations. Glass containers will be removed from grave sites by cemetery operations staff any time during the year.
