Bloomington, Indiana and Palo Alto, California became Sibling Cities in 2021, the first-of-its-kind domestic Sibling City relationship. This Sibling City pairing was facilitated by Sibling Cities USA (SCUSA), a non-profit organization that builds relationships between US Cities to bridge regional divides and promote unity in America. SCUSA has received bipartisan support for its mission to share community, commerce, and civil discourse between geographically distant cities in the United States.
