The City of Bloomington is following public health advice to take precautionary measures to limit the local impact of COVID-19 (coronavirus). To protect public health and safety, Bloomington Parks and Recreation is implementing social distancing by cancelling or postponing events and classes throughout its facilities.

The Twin Lakes Recreation Center will be closed from March 17-31, 2020.

  1. All group exercise classes, SilverSneakers classes and Tae Kwon Do classes are cancelled through the remainder of March, and for all of April. Group exercise classes will resume for Session III which begins May 4, 2020.
  2. All free, ongoing programs for adults are suspended until further notice. This includes Tai Chi Qigong, Steady Steppers, Lap Quilting and Advanced German.
  3. Adult Volleyball League play is suspended until further notice.
  4. All soccer programs in the facility are suspended until further notice.
  5. Current membership freeze options apply for all membership types.

Thank you for your patience and understanding as we do our part to stop the spread of COVID-19.
