Wildflower Seed Soiree

Gardening with native plants provides multiple benefits to people and wildlife, and helps support healthy soil, water and air. Join Parks Recreation staff on a walk through Rogers Family Park to collect native wildflower seeds for winter sowing in containers-a hands-off way of successfully starting native plants at home. All participants will learn best practices for seed collection and storage, participate in seed collecting and sowing, and take home seeds to sow this fall.
