Cherokee Rose is a return case that lived in a home for several years before coming back to us due to changed behavior around their children. We noticed that she was underweight and had a lump on her hind foot. After a visit to our vet, we discovered that Cherokee's lump was cancerous and removed it. We are currently assessing medical options going forward for her, which staff would be happy to discuss with interested adopters. She currently wears a bandage on her foot and a cone, but she's still perky and eager to see her people! She is a very sweet dog who absolutely loves to cuddle with her person; she'd be a perfect work from home companion! Cherokee has been known to climb fences and make grand escapes, so she would need supervision or to be on leash while outdoors. She is selective about other dogs and seems content to just do her own thing.
