“Hi! My name is Nali, while I had a rough first 2 years, I am living the high life now. My foster home is awesome and I have learned a lot of new stuff like ringing bells when I want to go out to potty and walking nicely on a leash. I now know my name and know the commands: sit, down, spin, stay and crawl. Some of my favorite things are going for walks, laying in the sun, chewing my nylabones and kongs, and staying close to my foster mom. New things can still be scary and make me anxious but positive praise and treats go a long way. It will probably take me some time to adjust to a new home and routine so a calm, patient person and home would suit me best, one without other dogs or small children. Something I still need work on is what is appropriate to chew, but the nylabones and kongs are helping. I heard my foster mom say I have become a sweet calm dog. While I’m still a work in progress, I’ve come a long way baby!” Nali came to the shelter after being an outdoor dog for all of her short life. She was very undersocialized and unused to being a pet. Things do still scare her at times and she needs to work on obedience. Nali will thrive in an experienced dog owner home, ideally without young children. Nali's foster family is willing to fund a post adoption behavior package for her and her adopter so there can be every chance at success! Stop in to meet her today
