Lenard, or Lennie as his foster mom calls him, came to us with over sixty other dogs as part of a hoarding case. He's been living with one of our amazing fosters learning how to dog. She has the following to say about him: "Lenny loves other dogs and can play for hours with my similar sized dog. He loves being outside and needs a running start to come inside, otherwise he freezes at the doorway. Lenny doesn't seem to understand his size in relationship to others around him. He will just jump over a little dog in his way. He is very loving with those he knows. Lenny is like a fluffy teddy bear. He loves being loved on and hugged. If he doesn't know you, he can usually be coaxed in by some lunch meat. Lenny seems very intelligent and responds well to some basic commands. He is still afraid of the leash and I am still working on that. He is completely house broken and although curious about cats he has done really well with mine. He would definitely benefit from another dog in the home, preferably close to his size." Apply today to give this guy his very best life. You won't regret it!
