Misty is a Courtesy Listing and is not housed at the Animal Shelter. Please note that the City of Bloomington Animal Care & Control accepts no responsibility for this pet. Potential adopters are responsible for communicating directly with the pet's guardian. My mother and grandmother have a dog, I think a chihuahua bread. Mom had a stroke in March of this year and just got home around a month ago, she loves this dog, but the dogs yippy bark is starting to throw her into seizures and my grandmother is 92, can't do much because her skin is so thin, the dog really scratches her without trying. She probably needed stitches, but she is stubborn and would go to get it checked out. The dog is by no means aggressive, just loud when people come in or leave. She is good with people after they are in the house, but loud when people are coming in, even if she knows them. She eats canned soft dog food because she doesn't have a lot of teeth. She's a Senior girl but we aren't sure how old she really is. They really love this dog, but their health issues are forcing them to find a good home for her. She is used to sleeping under the covers with her mom and has been just a wonderful companion. She is potty pad trained.
