Rip, Ripley, or Ripples, this big boy is showing staff a little more of his goofy puppy personality every day. Rip has had some vision struggles, and recently had cherry eye repaired for both eyes. Staff and volunteers who work with Rip think he is probably seeing better now than ever in his life before. The whole world is new and big and a little scary! Rip will need a patient adopter and preferably a quieter (less foot traffic) home to help him adjust and learn all the good things about the world. Rip previously lived with another dog whom he was dependent on, but meeting new dogs at the shelter so far has been super scary for him. Rip tries to keep his kennel clean but he definitely has those mastiff cheeks, and right now a big ol’ cone to protect his eyes while they heal. He’s a bit of a mess right now but the most lovable kind. When he’s done trying to be invisible, and he understands that you are on his team, Rip promises to give you the very best snuggles and be the best partner-in-adventures you could ask for.
