Potential adopters are responsible for communicating directly with the pet's guardian. We have had Darcy for 2 weeks. His owner had to surrender him suddenly. We agreed to take him temporarily. Darcy is staying in our home. He is 11 years old. He weighs 30 pounds. He hasn't received regular veterinary care, but as far as we can tell, he is in good health. He isn't deaf, but doesn't hear well. He is very well behaved. While here, he has been friendly to people and other dogs. He hasn't been around cats or children while in our care. He is totally housebroken. He hasn't had any accidents in our house. He is quiet at night. He is not crate trained. He has not damaged anything in our home. He walks nicely on a leash and enjoys our walks. He is not a high energy dog. He would make a good companion.
