Bachelor Bubba is a Courtesy Listing and is not housed at the Animal Shelter. Please note that the City of Bloomington Animal Care & Control accepts no responsibility for this pet. Potential adopters are responsible for communicating directly with the pet's guardian. This sweet boy is Batchelor Bubba, Don't let the muscles fool you, this guy is made of plush. I'll guard your house, protect your home and ask for cuddles, especially during scary storms. My Hobbies-- Stealing your snacks when you're not looking Long walks to the fridge Cuddles while snoring Tough on the outside, teddy bear on the inside and full of zoomies. Batchelor Bubba was found by a kind lady who reached to Corken's Critters Rescue and let me know that she has found and been caring for an emaciated dog that seem to have been dumped. He had on a new collar and freshly trimmed nails. As soon as I pulled in I sat on the ground and sweet Batchelor Bubba came running over to me, tail wagging with a big smile on his face. He gave me all the kisses and jumped right in my car. The first few nights were rough (as expected) but nothing horrible, just a couple accidents. Slowly introduced him to my animals and he did really well from the getgo. He does enjoy sleeping in his crate at night but also loves cuddles in bed. Batchelor Bubba also snorts like a pig, snores like a grown man AND has a very dramatic and attention seeking screechy barking skit that he loves to do as well when he wants your attention. Batchelor Bubba is a work in process, in addition to needing work with manners and commands, we also have to work on fear aggression. He is the sweetest boy, except for when it comes to meeting someone, at first. He will come out wagging his tail while growling, as soon as he sees you have a treat and you squat down and give it to him, you guys are best buddies. Batchelor Bubba is now neutered, UTD on shots and looking for his furever home. We are currently working on manners and commands. He is easily distracted and gets overstimulated easily due to him still being a puppy. He is kennel trained and house broken, he will stand by the door and whine when he needs to go out. He so far has done well with cats and other dogs (can be high energy, which can be overstimulating to certain dogs). As far as children, I am unsure but due to his high energy levels and wanting to rough house when he plays, I would recommend a house with no small children and someone who has time and patience to continue helping Bubba learn manners and how to not be so scared of new people. Could you be my new best friend?
